China's top telecoms gear maker, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd [HWT.UL], said on Tuesday it expects its contract sales in Asia Pacific, excluding China, to hit $3.9 billion this year as regional operators upgrade their networks.
Shenzhen-based Huawei, which competes with cross-town rival ZTE Corp , said in a statement its contract sales in the region rose to $2.5 billion in 2007, versus $2 billion the previous year.
