TIM Brasil and
Nokia Siemens Networks have signed a contract to deploy and service a
WCDMA/
HSPA network in several Brazilian states of the South, Northeast and North regions.
Nokia Siemens Networks will be the single 2G/
3G Packet Core Network supplier for the whole country and the main radio access network supplier to the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Paran│, Santa Catarina, Pernambuco, Para┴ba, Alagoas, Rio Grande do Norte, Cear│, Maranhão, Piau┴, Par│, Amazonas, Roraima and Amap│. TIM¨s network will be upgraded with industry-leading Flexi base stations.
