China Telecom issued its operating data in December 2016 on January 20.
Its 4G subscribers increased 4.57 million in December, a 5.54% increase compared with November, while total 4G subscribers reached 121.87 million with 63.41 million additions in the whole year.
Its 2G and 3G subscribers added 830,000 to 215 million in December, increasing 17.1 million in 2016.
Its fixed broadband users increased 890,000 to 123.12 million in December, 34.85% compared with the 660,000 in November.
During this period, its fixed phone users declined 690,000 in December and 7.46 million to 126.86 million in the whole year.
