China Mobile released the operation data in December of 2016.
The total subscribers of the carrier reached 848 million. Its 4G subscribers added 25.205 million in December, increasing 101% compared with November and the annual addition reached 222 million. By the end of December of last year, China Mobile's 4G subscribers reached 535 million.
However, its 3G subscribers slowed in December, down sharply from the 8.436 million in November, reaching 103 million.
Its fixed broadband users increased 440,000 to 77.624 million compared with November and those grew 22.595 million in the whole year.
