China Mobile Showed Developments at ITU Telecom World 2016

ITU Telecom World 2016 is held in Bangkok, Thailand on November 14-17. China Mobile attended the event, showing China's dominant technologies including TD-LTE, 5G, terminal and cloud video technologies.

China Mobile showed the latest stage of TD-LTE at the event. By the end of the third quarter this year, there have been 85 TD-LTE commercial networks in 46 countries with over 800 million subscribers. China Mobile has constructed the largest TD-LTE network in the world, which will help promote the global allocation of TDD spectrums and the evolution of 4G network.

In February this year, China Mobile launched 5G Joint Innovation Center with the first patch of partners, and 51 corporations in different industries have joined it in nine months, such as basic communication, IoT, car networking, virtual reality / augmented reality, cloud intelligent robot and industrial Internet. The operator has also built 4 open laboratories.

China Mobile has exhibited 5 models of latest 4G devices, including the latest 4G device A2 supporting CA, RCS device N2 which is self-developed, cost-effective device A1s, several models based on the cooperation between China Mobile and foreign operators and cloud video.
