China Unicom Internet of Things Platform was officially released at the 10th China Unicom's International Partners Conference last year.
The company has constructed new IoT dedicated network elements, data center and IoT platform in Nanjing and Guangzhou, owning 565,000 base stations and covering 31 provinces & 360 cities.
China Unicom has made considerable progress in industry information application services and IoT in one year. It has increased end-to-end service capability mainly for vehicle service, mobile payment, smart watch, intelligent wearable, mobile media, industry and environmental monitoring with its IoT connections growing 10.5 million, exceeding 50 million.
