China Telecom will realize complete coverage of its NB-IoT based on 800MHz band in 1H17, according to Yang Jie, chairman of China Telecom, at the 8th Intelligent Terminal Industry Forum held in July.
It is known that China Telecom has launched new strategies for the IoT market in three aspects. The operator has launched the brand esurfing IoT, intensive platform, intensive system and dedicated network element while esurfing IoT has had 150 start-up members. Besides, China Telecom has provided direct module subsidies of CNY 200 million as well as marketing fees of CNY 200 million for esurfing IoT.
