China Telecom plans to phase out long distance & roaming charges and all the services will be charged by traffic in 2016, including voice calls and SMS, Yang Jie, chairman of China Telecom, said at the 8th Intelligent Terminal Industry Forum on July 15.
4G subscribers will account for over 80% for China Telecom this year. Yang Jie told that China Telecom will focus on choice content, channel and terminal cooperation and esurfing handsets.
