China Mobile reported earnings results for 1Q16 on April 20th.
China Mobile reported first quarter revenue of CNY 177.5 billion which is an increase of 8.7% over the year-ago quarter. The revenue of its communication services is CNY 151.6 billion with a year-on-year increase of 4.9%; the profit attributable to shareholders is CNY 23.9 billion with a year-on-year increase of 0.5%.
The development of its fixed broadband services has become a bright spot, of which the total subscribers hit 60.59 million, pretty close to 72.23 million fixed broadband subscribers of China Unicom in the end of 2015.
