International bandwidth of China¡¯s backbone network is about 5266G in 2015

CNNIC released the 37th Statistical Report on China Internet Development on January 22nd. The Report disclosed the basic resources of China’s Internet. By December 2015, there were 337 million IPv4 addresses and 20594 block /32 IPv6 addresses in China; the total mumber of domain names was 31.02 million, of which the “.CN” domain names reached 16.36 million; there were 4.23 million websites with an annual increase of 26.3%; China’s international bandwidth was about 5392116 Mbps with an annual increase of 30.9%.

The international bandwidth closely related to the Internet experience has increased by 30.9% in the past year. The international bandwidth of China’s network has kept a growth above 20% since 2010 and even reached 79.33% in 2013.

The three major operators have accounted for most of the allocation of the international bandwidth of China’s backbone network. China Telecom and China Unicom have accounted for a large part of the whole allocation, especially China Telecom accounting for nearly 60%.
