MVNO Dr. Peng launched mobile service brand Great Wall Mobile and will focus on oversea markets

Recently, the MVNO Dr. Peng officially launched its mobile service brand: the Great Wall Mobile. It will allocate 500,000 phone numbers of the 1705 section in the first batch, covering 25 provinces and 35 cities.Its services includes data traffic, SMS and voice services and the MVNO will mainly focus on broadband and outbound traveling subscribers. The chairman of Dr. Peng Yang Xueping said, Dr. Peng would strive to become the largest MVNO of China Mobile.

At the press conference, Dr. Peng also launched the first national voice roaming “voice tariff package” services, namely if the subscribers pay certain cost (68 yuan at least per month), then they can call anyone in domestic without paying extra fees. In addition, Dr. Peng also launched the first fixed-mobile integration package--"broadband + voice + content” package, with the lowest tariff of 223 yuan per month and no limit on the domestic roaming calls.

At present, Dr. Peng has become the third largest fixed network broadband operator and the fourth full-service telecom operator in China, with 80 million broadband users and 9.42 million online subscribers. Its business has covered nearly 300 million subscribers in 123 cities nationwide. With the fixed-mobile integration packages, it not only enhances the user adhesiveness, but also provides better service experiences for the subscribers.

In addition to the domestic market, Dr. Peng will focus on expanding the oversea mobile virtual operation markets. And it has already set up the Great Wall mobile Korea branch and became the first Chinese company to obtain mobile virtual operation license in South Korea.

The Great Wall mobile Korea branch has already made cooperation with Korea operator KT and launches the Peng-travel SIM cards to tourists from China. At the same time, it also provides more attractive mobile communication services to Chinese people in Korea. In addition, Great Wall mobile will continue to launch US version, Japan version, Europe version and other versions of Peng-travel SIM cards, therefore making it the first choice for Chinese oversea travelers. In the future, the Great Wall mobile will become another main business of Dr. Peng besides the Great Wall broadband.
