Recently China Mobile has officially announced the operation data of November 2014, which said it has added 2.408 million new mobile subscribers, and the total mobile subscribers accumulated to 804 million; the net increase of 4G subscribers was 16.78 million, reaching 71.23 million in total.
Up to now, China Mobile has completed the goal of obtaining 70 million 4G subscribers in 2014. The number of 70 million is only one part, what matters more is that the DOU and ARPU of 4G subscribers are much higher than that of 2G/3G subscribers of China Mobile.
Unlike the lucky China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom are still waiting for the issuance of LTE FDD licenses. The November operation data of China Unicom showed that its mobile subscribers increased 554,000, and the net increase of 3G/4G subscribers was 1.093 million. In China Telecom, the net increase of mobile subscribers was 1.31 million in November, while 3G subscribers added 2.02 million, reaching 116.63 million accumulatively.
