Recently Suning Mobile Vice-general Manager Wang Shuai accepts the interview and says, Chinese virtual operators have been underestimated, because the amount of users is far more than 200,000, of which the development is not that slow as the industry believe. Only Suning Mobile has already signed up 100,000 users, and there are over 300,000 subscribers together with Ali Telecom and another company which is in MVNOs Top 3 too.
Wang Shuai says, MVNOs’ communication business has technological difficulties, which needs enough caution but there’s no necessary to pursue development speed, thus leading to the ignorance of service quality elevation. “MVNOs involve communication industry, calling for advanced technology; but meanwhile it has barriers, so the key point is to elevate the service quality instead of developing too fast in the previous term.” He also insists that the core competitive competence of MVNOs is focus and “transboudary”.
As the MVNO with the largest coverage in China, Suning Mobile launched the open pre-ordering service in 42 cities recently and it is expected to carry out business comprehensively in 61 cities in 28 provinces.
