In the “ICT China High Level Forum 2014”, the vice general manager of China Telecom Yang Xiaowei disclosed that China Telecom will continue to increase the construction of infrastructure network.
It is predicted that by the end of this year, the operator’s 4G base stations will reach 140,000, distribution systems will be built 80,000 sets, realizing the deep 4G coverage in key cities; fiber network coverage will reach 15 million households, and the total number of subscribers will be about 100 million. However, Yang Xiaowei did not reveal the proportion of TD-LTE and FDD LTE base stations.
