3G auctions: Bidders give first day a miss

India’s 3G and BWA (broadband wireless access) spectrum auctions got under way with March 15 being the first day when bidders could have submitted their applications. But PTI reports that interested players are waiting till March 19 to submit their applications.
The news agency reports that biggies Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Tata Teleservices and Vodafone Essar would submit their applications on March 19 which is the last date for submission.
