Reliance Communications, one of India's largest and only telecom service provider to offer nationwide GSM and CDMA services, has launched Mobile GSM Services in over 1,450 towns and more than 10,000 villages of India’s northwestern state of Rajasthan.

"The Reliance Mobile GSM entails offering a unique value proposition fine-tuned as per the needs of every segment of the 250 Million GSM customers market in the country”, said CS Rana, executive senior vice president and regional head Rajasthan, Delhi, and Haryana Circles, Reliance Communications, while addressing a press conference in Jaipur.
 
"In a very short span, Reliance Mobile has created a GSM network in Rajasthan whose coverage and capabilities are superior to GSM networks that have been in existence of 15 years,” claimed Gurpreet Singh, circle head, Rajasthan, Reliance Communications.
 
Singh claimed that now, GSM customers in Rajasthan would be able to avail state-of-the-art, next generation, EDGE ready Reliance Mobile GSM Network.
 
Company officials said that Reliance Communications has set up towers in Rajasthan to provide high quality, congestion-free and Zero-Call drop GSM services. Enhancing the quality of services in dense population areas of Rajasthan where the company has installed in-building solutions.
 
Reliance Mobile GSM Services offering the complete suite of Voice, SMS, Value-added and GPRS services are available at retail outlets across Rajasthan.
 
With the launch of GSM services in Rajasthan, the company also introduced a first-of-its-kind Customer Experience Program (CEP) for customers choosing Reliance Mobile GSM Services, a unique plan which offers up to 100 percent of savings to sub-Rs 300 Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) mobile customers in Rajasthan at a one-time subscription charge (including GSM SIM) of Rs 25 only.
