Tata Teleservices (TTSL) has inked deals with hardware vendors Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) and Huawei Technologies for the rollout of approximately 60 million GSM lines, India’s Economic Times is reporting. The cellco has signed five-year contracts with both vendors worth an estimated USD3.5 billion. The report quoted a source as noting, ‘It [TTSL] has finalised Nokia for providing services in nine circles, while Huawei has bagged the contract for some other circles.’
