Dutch telecoms group KPN said on Monday it would sell its Getronics unit's Business Solutions activities for local governments and healthcare in the Netherlands to Total Specific Solutions. Financial details of the deal, which is expected to close early next year and must be approved by the Dutch competition authority, have not been disclosed.
KPN, the former Dutch telecoms monopoly, bought Getronics for 1.2 billion euros ($1.6 billion), including debt, last year. It has said it would keep Getronics' businesses in the Netherlands, Britain, Belgium and North America and sell non-core units.
