T-Mobile USA has outlined plans to launch 3G wireless networks in 27 major markets by the end of this year. The network rollout will see around two-thirds of T-Mobile’s current mobile data customers covered by high speed W-CDMA/HSDPA networks by end-2008. The new markets will include Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando, Philadelphia, Sacramento, San Francisco and Seattle, all of which are expected to see launches next month. T-Mobile has already launched 3G networks in 13 cities, including New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Dallas, Houston and Boston.
