Hong Kong had 10.98 million mobile users at the end of June, up from 10.93 million in May, according to figures from regulator OFTA. Of the total, some 5.14 million were prepaid users and 2.91 million used 2.5G or 3G services. Hong Kong operators had 2.38 million 3G users in June, up from 2.32 million a month earlier, while 822,189 people connected through an MVNO, down from 830,008 in May. The number of MVNO customers has been dropping since April when it peaked at 850,122.
