China Mobile Releases Q2 2008 SP Rankings

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has released its wireless value-added service provider (SP) rankings for Q2 2008. The new rankings saw 5 companies win A-ratings across five service categories. The 5 recipients of A-ratings included:

SMS services: Tencent (0700.HK) and Kong.net (Nasdaq: KONG)

MMS services: Sina (Nasdaq: SINA)

WAP: Kong.net (Nasdaq: KONG)

IVR: Tencent (0700.HK) and Guangdong Xintai Information Technology Ltd.

KJava: MIG China and Sina (Nasdaq: SINA)
