Government owned telecom company BSNL is planning a mega entry into the CDMA market.

The company is planning to offer bundled handsets with their CDMA based mobile service packages.

They have now invited global CDMA handset makers to collaborate with them for this mega project.

BSNL has plans to invest around Rs 2,000 crore on a CDMA network roll-out.

Market analysts believe that the company could enter into deals with mobile phone makers like China’s ZTE and Huawei, Samsung, LG, and Nokia for this project.

BSNL currently offer GSM based mobile services in the country. GSM connections are rarely offered with bundled packages including mobile devices.
