Taiwan’s dominant telco Chunghwa Telecom says revenues for the month of July fell 1.6% year-on-year to TWD15.42 billion (USD497 million). Net profit stood at TWD4.12 billion, down from TWD4.6 billion in July 2007. Profits for the first seven months of the year fell from TWD29.2 billion in 2007 to TWD27.43 billion this year.
