LE Holding, a subsidiary of Telefonica, has filed for an investigation into management practices at Lycos Europe. LE Holding is a shareholder in Lycos, and has asked the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal to investigate "the policy and conduct of business" at the internet company. Lycos is legally registered in the Netherlands. Lycos has suffered recurring losses and earlier said it's looking for a buyer for the company. The company said it will not comment until it has examined the court request.
