China Unicom CDMA terminal unit, Unicom Vsens Telecommunications Technology, may be fully merged into China Telecom, Beijing Times quoted China Unicom source as saying.
It is reported that China Telecom and China Unicom have reached an agreement to merge Unicom Vsens into the former to secure Vsens' advantage in CDMA management and device purchase.

But the two Chinese telecom operators have not yet come to a consensus in how to deal with Vsens staff, Beijing Times quoted the source familiar with the situation.

Earlier reports say that China Unicom had hoped to remain Vsens as its own mobile phone purchase platform in the future 3G age and China Telecom ever planned to build an independent CDMA terminal purchase company.
