Vibo approaches KTF to buy stake

Korean communications services provider KT Freetel (KTF) has been in talks with Taiwan-based operator Vibo Telecom about acquiring a stake, CENS reports. Vibo Telecom is planning to raise TWD 4 billion by issuing new shares and approached KTF about investing in the company. A KTF spokesperson confirmed to Dow Jones it was approached about a possible investment in Vibo. Vibo General Manager F.H. Chang said that many foreign investors have contacted the company for a possible investment.
