Qatar Telecom's plan to increase its stake in Indonesia's second-largest mobile phone operator, PT Indosat, contravened an Indonesian court ruling, the country's anti-trust body, quoted by a Reuters reprort, said.
Earlier on Monday, Indonesia's State Enterprises Minister, Sofyan Djalil, told reporters the government will not stand in the way of the Middle Eastern investor, which said over the weekend it plans to increase its holding in Indosat to 40.8%.
