China Netcom Signs Telstra For Olympics Broadcasting Right

China Netcom (NYSE: CN; 906.HK) signed an agreement with Australian telecom operator Telstra to offer 2008 Olympic broadcasts in Australia on September 26, reports ChinaByte. Telstra is the first Oceanian operator to sign with China Netcom for Olympics broadcasting. The companies plan to broadcast on Australia Channel 7.
