MIIT has announced the operation report of the first seven months of China's telecommunication industry recently.
Catching over 66.3 percent of mobile phone subscribers, 4G subscribers maintained a rapid growth of 140 million this year and hit 910 million in China.
By the end of July, China's three major operators added 50.77 million mobile phone subscribers, reaching 1.37 billion while 3G and 4G subscribers increased to 1.06 billion.
The total fixed broadband access user base of the three operators reached 326 million with 28.61 million additions this year.
FTTH/O subscribers increased 38.75 million to 266 million year over year, representing 81.8 percent of the fixed Internet broadband access users.
Besides, the three major telecom operators have totally gained 1.2 billion mobile Internet subscribers including 19.3 million new IPTV additions.
