China Telecom released the operation data in April on May 22.
It added 2.52 million mobile subscribers which hit 224 million totally; its 4G subscribers increased 4.94 million to 142.58 million.
Its fixed broadband user base has been taken to 126.53 million with 710,000 new additions in April.
Its FTTH subscribers grew 607 million to 112.06 million by the end of the first quarter this year.
Its fixed telephone subscribers reduced 480,000 to 125 million in April.
