China Unicom has notched up 33.59 million subscribers via its mobile resale service by February, accounting for 73 percent of the market share. The company offers the service in 188 cities of 29 provinces in China with 29 MVNO partners.
During the three-year pilot period, China Unicom has raised the system support capability significantly, especially in 2015-2016, users it carried rising 121 percent, average daily order processing capacity up 60 percent and daily order peak increased by 45 percent.
To handle with the rapid growth of mobile resale services, the company carried out application layer cloudization, aiming to dealing with 100 million orders at least, optimize the order problem and simplify the docking process in 2016.
