China's National Development and Reform Commission and MIIT created the Three-year Action Plan of Information Infrastructure Capital Project Construction recently.
The Plan aims at perfection of the new generation high-speed optical fiber network, construction of advanced mobile broadband network and global network facilities and strengthening of application supporting capabilities. In 2016-2018, 1.2 trillion renminbi needs to be spent on information infrastructure construction with 92 projects as the emphasis, including backbone network, fixed broadband access network, mobile broadband access network, international communication network and application infrastructure construction, which need investments of CNY 902.2 billion.
