It is reported that preparation work for the Internet "13th national five-year plan" is moving forward steadily and the draft is expected to be completed in Q3, it is expected to be released officially in Q4 after deliberation by the relevant ministries and consultation of the industry opinions.
According to the finished content of the experts, accelerating the information infrastructure construction will be an important goal of the Internet "13th national five-year plan",including high-speed broadband, 4G network, IPv6 network and Cloud Computing Center. Especially the construction of all kinds of network will become main work of China's Internet and information industry during this stage.
According to the target of Internet "13th national five-year plan" and the previous work plans of MIIT and other departments, the accumulative investment in network construction will exceed CNY 1 trillion mark during this stage and is expected to maintain a growth rate of about 10% annually.
The spokesman of MIIT Zhang Feng said that China's network construction investment was expected to reach CNY 435 billion in 2015, with a year-on-year increase of 10%, and the accumulative investment will exceed CNY 700 billion in 2016 and 2017. Judging by the mentioned investment scale, the investment in network construction will be around CNY 1.75 trillion during the "13th national five-year plan" .Considering that China's big data, cloud computing and other business have just started and the IPv6 network hasn’t been deployed yet during the “12th national five-year plan”, therefore, investment and construction of relevant information infrastructure may show more rapid growth rates during the "13th national five-year plan", which may enable the national information infrastructure investment to exceed CNY 2 trillion mark.
