Recently, MIIT and NDRC announce the promotion of the implementation opinions(Opinions for short) of IPv6 deployment in LTE network and four targets are proposed:
1. The new LTE network must support and start IPv6 comprehensively, use IPv6 in LTE voice solutions, promote CDN to support mobile IPv6 business and elevate IPv6 business visit service quality.
2. Enhance the ability of national brand LTE baseband chip, operating system and mobile devices to support IPv6, and promote national influential brand phones to support IPv6 in all around.
3. Promote typical mobile internet applications which have huge national users and wide coverage to support IPv6. By the end of 2016, the number of IPv6 mobile internet applications which have more have 500,000 download should exceed 50. The creativity ability based on IPv6 should improve, IPv6 can have more abundant sources.
4. Develop more than 30 million IPv6 users through LTE network construction by the end of 2016 and initiate to realize IPv6 application in mobile internet in large scale to promote fixed internet support to IPv6.
