On 14th December, the concerned China Mobile Global Partner Conference 2015 was held in Guangzhou.Li Huidi,vice president of China Mobile, said that China Mobile will intensively develop 4G subscribers and strive to achieve 500 million 4G subscribers in 2016. In addition, the goal of device sales is to reach 330 million, of which over 100 million will support VoLTE and CA.
In order to achieve these goals, he said that China Mobile will focus on the following five aspects:
First, continue to promote the integration development of TD-LTE and FDD LTE and achieve multi-mode and multi-band development, it will launch more 5-mode 13-band devices with the industry chain.
Second, continue to accelerate the commercialization process of VoLTE and CA and provide supports for these new technologies; China Mobile will also launch 1000 yuan level VoLTE and CA supporting devices of its own brand, and achieve the goal of selling over 100 million VoLTE and CA supporting devices in 2016.
Third, promote more subscribers to migrate to the 4G network.
Fourth, continue to promote innovation in devices and promote their development in multiple forms: on the one hand, make the magic box and CPE reach 10 million sales; on the other hand, extensively promote the development of NB-IoT and realize commercialization in 2017.
Fifth, improve the user experiences and protect their interests. China Mobile will also launch VoLTE based secure handsets, such as Huawei MATE 8.
