China Telecom released the operation data in February.
Its 4G subscriber growth was up 2.5 percent, equaling 4.98 million, from 4.86 million in January while its 4G user base was taken to 131.71 million.
A net increase of 1.75 million happened to its mobile subscribers, reaching 218.52 million, including its 2G and 3G subscribers
With a 820,000 growth which reduced 9.89 percent from January, its fixed broadband subscribers hit 124.85 million.
The company's fixed phone subscribers reduced 620,000 to 125.94 million, a stiffer loss compared with 300,000 in the month before.
